PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Spruce Kings are excited to announce the acquisition of Aidan Souligny (’06) from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
The Spruce Kings have traded defenseman Max Ranström (’04) in exchange for Souligny and future considerations.
Souligny, who is committed to playing NCAA Division 1 hockey at Boston University, has suited up in 25 games with the Silverbacks this season. In that time, the 18-year-old defenseman has recorded two assists.
“We’re excited to add a good young player like Aidan to our program,” said General Manager Mike Hawes. “He’s a player who thinks the game well and has good size and strength. He is a great addition to our back end.”
Souligny comes to Prince George standing at 6’1″ and 198 lbs with a booming left-handed shot.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Spruce Kings and meeting all the players,” said Souligny.” I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the team, coaching staff and the city of Prince George.”
The Spruce Kings want to welcome Aidan Souligny to Prince George and thank Max Ranström for his contributions to the organization.
